We've all been there: work has you down, your disposable income is such that dropping 20 large on a weekend getaway isn't in the cards, but you want to "get away from it all", even for just a few minutes.
At Doc62 Productions, we're all about giving our fans something fun to do in their downtime.
Even better, our titles are priced affordably so you don't have to save up for a year to add a little bit of fun to your library.
First off, let's be clear: we cater to the 18+ crowd.
If you've not reached the age of the majority or you're not into that type of entertainment, then we're not for you − and that's alright.
We're not trying to be all things to all people.
We just want to tell our stories and give you something to while away the hours without stressing out about every little detail.
What we strive for above all is for entertainment that captures all aspects of the human experience, albeit in a light-hearted, sometimes racy manner.
If that sounds like something you might like, then you've come to the right place!
Head on over to our Titles page to see what we've been up to.
Doc62 Productions: Creating entertainment for discerning adults.
About Us
The staff of Doc62 Productions have been involved in the entertainment industry for many years.
For most of those years, it's been as a consumer of entertainment, rather than a producer.
While many of the games we tried over the years were entertaining, they were clearly detached from reality.
Sure, they were a fun diversion, but our virtual avatar was some sort of superhuman being, able to do things we could never pull off, even on our best day.
There's nothing wrong with playing a character that is invincible, but let's face it, that takes a certain leap of faith to accept.
What was missing for us were situations that were perhaps a bit more attainable.
Or perhaps, a fantasy life that didn't involve death and destruction.
Those things are fine, too, but sometimes we want something a bit...softer.
Then one day, it happened.
Doc62, our founder, was on vacation.
Always the IT geek, he dragged his laptop along, and when nothing else was going on, spent a bit of time gaming.
He launched his Steam client to start his gaming session, and it suggested he might like a game named College Bound since it was like other games he'd played.
Upon investigation, he didn't think it sounded like any game he'd ever played, but it was a free demo, so he decided to give it a try.
Within minutes, he had the epiphany that this was what had been missing: adult content that didn't involve the maiming and killing of countless NPCs.
He was hooked.
He reached out to the creator of that game, FOZ, and within a couple of months, found himself as the head writer and chief programmer of the College Bound franchise, a position he held for nearly two years.
While working with FOZ, Doc62 came to appreciate the craft of creating the so-called AVN, or Adult Visual Novel.
Even with as much fun as he had while working with FOZ, he eventually came to the conclusion that he wanted to try doing things a bit differently, so he ended his tenure with FOZ (though not before putting the finishing touches on the final version of College Bound) and decided to strike out on his own.
After experimention with the available tools for a while, he decided that the only way to really learn how to use them was to start his own project: thus, work on our first title, City Park Play Date, commenced.
It took a while to iron out all the details, but eventually, the pieces fell into place and that first title was finished.
This is how Doc62 Productions got its start, and how we ended up as a burgeoning creator in the lewd gaming industry.
Titles
Perhaps a more appropriate heading for this page at the moment would be "Title", since we only currently have one completed game ready for release: the aforementioned City Park Play Date (a.k.a., CPPD).
Synopsis
James is sharp, adept, and not afraid to take chances − at least in his professional life.
His personal life, by contrast, is nothing to write home about.
It goes back to a formative experience during his high school days that he's never quite recovered from.
Sometimes your friends can be your worst enemies...at least that's what James took away from that jarring event.
So he pours himself into his work and does what he does best, soaring to stratospheric heights in his 9-to-5 at a local software company.
He excels, but cannot shake the thought that there is something missing.
He's a loner, and any friends he has these days are either at work, or of the online variety.
But that's about to change.
A chance encounter while attending a work function sends James down a dizzying new path he'd never thought possible.
It all comes to a head when James embarks on his own, personal City Park Play Date.
CPPD is now available in the Steam store!

Support Us
The most common way for indie developers such as Doc62 Productions to connect with their fans at this point in time is via one of the various monetization platforms on the Internet.
Foremost among those, at least at this point, is Patreon.
Many AVN developers maintain an active presence on Patreon, and Doc62 Productions is no different.
If you want to follow along as a new title evolves, our Patreon page is the place to be!
You will find yourself in a community of like-minded people, and will be able to have a direct impact on the course that any project currently in development takes by commenting on posts, participating in polls, or even using Patreon's messaging facility to communicate directly with the staff of Doc62.
If you've never used Patreon before, don't worry, it's easy: find the creator you want to support, review their various membership plans (and yes, free is one of your options, albeit with limited perks), and sign up.
Depending on the creator, you have the option of paying monthly, and in some cases, yearly, with an associated discount for the longer term commitment.

What would an online presence in the 2020s be without social media?
Boring & obscure, that's what!
As such, we've set ourselves up on a couple of the social media platforms out there.
We may add others in the future, but for now, you can visit us here:
To be honest, we are much more active on X/Twitter than YouTube, so if you only choose to follow us on one, X/Twitter is the place to go.

OK, so you like what you see, but you have questions. Now what?
Why, reach out to us, that's what!
As mentioned on our
Support Us
page, one of the advantages of Patreon is that it has a built-in messaging feature.
It's basic, but it has the distinct advantage of only being available to members of our Patreon.
As such, if you send us a message via Patreon, you are certain to reach us since we actively monitor our communcations there.
As an alternative, we do have an email presence, but that isn't monitored quite as closely as our Patreon messages.
However, if email is your communication mechanism of choice, rest assured that if you reach out to us that way, you will hear back from us eventually.

Like many other AVN creators, we at Doc62 Productions also maintain a Discord server.
Discord is very popular these days, and unless you're new to this whole Internet thing, you've probably already used it.
Our Discord server is probably the most active of our communication vehicles, although the community is still rather small.
If you chat with someone on our Discord server, rest assured that they are also a fan, and can probably tell you things about us that we haven't already told you − all good things, hopefully!
